Her sound drifts between hypnotic techno, psychedelic dub, and dream-heavy bass, stitched together with the care of a storyteller threading myth and memory.

A London-based DJ, writer, and founder of the acclaimed platform Untitled 909, Chanel’s curatorial voice is as distinctive as her mixes: textured, emotional, and gently radical. Whether on the radio or playing at international clubs and festivals, she conjures spaces where the overlooked and the infinite collide - where the floor itself hums like an ancient drum and every note flickers like candlelight against stone. Some of her key gigs so far include Open Ground, Corsica Studios, Sublimation Festival in Uzbekistan, Bait takeover at Le Sample Paris, The Pickle Factory, and Floorless Festival to name a few. She’s contributed mixes to renowned series’ such as Sure Thing, Pure Space, Origins Tapes, Theory Therapy alongside radio shows across Rinse FM, LYL Radio, Refuge World and Netil Radio - the latter two are the home of her radio residencies, Untitled 909 and spirialling, naturally.

With roots in music journalism and PR, Chanel has long worked as a bridge between artists and audiences. As basic chanel, she carries this ethos into her sound - championing the subterranean, the psychedelic, and the subtle.
